There are so many different activities to enjoy year round in the Comox Valley; there is something for everyone. There aren’t too many other places in the world where you can ski, fish, and golf all in the same day! Mount Washington Alpine Resort is open year-round; offering skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and snowshoeing from December-April, and hiking, biking, horseback riding, scenic chair life rides, and disk golf during the Summer months.

The Comox Valley is full of many different beaches and rivers to explore during any season.

Located only 30 minutes from the Comox Valley, Mount Washington is a desirable year round destination, offering many seasonal activities, including: alpine skiing & snowboarding, nordic skiing, snow shoeing, and tubing in the winter; and, hiking, biking, horseback riding, disk golf, and scenic chairlift rides in the summer.

Comox Valley Farmer’s Market

The Comox Valley Farmer’s Market is held year-round at different locations throughout the year. The market features many different booths selling locally grown fruits & veggies, local meats & fish, honey, fresh baked goodies, and tempting treats, just to name a few!

During the Spring and Summer months, the Farmer’s Market is located on the Courtenay Fair Grounds, on Headquarters Road in Courtenay. (Across from Vanier Secondary School).

The Filberg Festival

August long weekend 2014

The Filberg Festival is a yearly event, held on the first weekend in August. The festival is held at the beautiful 9-acre waterfront Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park. The festival features many different artisans, live entertainment, and food choices.
